Improvements at March Burn, Glenapp
The members of the Rotary Club of Stranraer were delighted that further funding was awarded by Kilgallioch Community Fund. A grant of £9300 has been used to install three flights of steps with handrails at the March Burn to replace stones which were slippery in wet weather. New drainage was carried out on the south side of the burn which will prevent flooding at the bridge over the burn. Two new waymarkers will be erected which will help to keep walkers on the path.
The work which was carried out by Luce Bay Plant Hire Ltd will make the crossing of the burn much easier and will greatly improve the safety of walkers at that location.
The Rotary Club gratefully appreciates this further funding from the Kilgallioch Community Fund which covered the costs of these important works at the March Burn.
